This high resolution image demonstrates the use of multi-spectral aerial photography that includes near a infra-red filtered lens. The results are ‘false coloured’ to ensure that the reader can interpret the results simply by viewing a photograph.

In this example, the false colour palette uses a spectrum from red (healthy vegetation) to blue (unhealthy vegetation or lack of vegetation).
